Creating an email list seems simple to some, but it's not something commonly done by many people. There's several steps to take in order to successfully capture the audience you want including incentives and automations. Here's the process I use when setting up an email list for clients:
1. I work with you to choose a marketing platform. This can be Mailchimp, Flodesk, ConvertKit, etc. You get signed up and create an account on the website and pick a plan.
2. Next comes the design & details. This is where I create a new audience for you and get the details you want to gather like name, email address, phone number, etc. I am able to customize the sign-up form so that it aligns with your brand.
3. After your form is looking beautiful, I will add it to your website by embedding it. I can also create you a landing page if that supports your brand.
4. You'll want to encourage sign-ups by offering an incentive. This can be a discount, some exclusive content, or access to valuable resources.
5. Before we promote your email list, we want to create some automations and a welcome series. This is going to do the work behind the scenes for you.
6. Finally, we can promote your new list. By using IG, your website, and other marketing materials, we can push your list live and then start tracking analytics.
