Our guest speaker for our September adult program will be Tim Janousek. Tim is the operator of The Plant House here in Maryville. The Maryville Public Library is excited to have Tim back as a guest speaker after several successful gardening programs over the past few years. This program will focus on another interest from Tim: landscaping! With the interest in utilizing native plants on the rise, Tim is excited to share his landscaping and general plant knowledge with the participants of the Landscaping with Native Plants class.

We still have spots available for our Landscaping with Native Plants class on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM in our library basement. This class is great for anyone who is interested in landscaping and learning more about using native plants. Registration for this program is required, and adults can register for free by visiting the library front desk or calling (660) 582-5281. This program is intended for adults, but youth ages 13 and up are welcome to come with an adult.
