📌 Reminder for seasonal businesses

We're nearing the end of Cape Cod's "off season." However, when it comes to advertising your business, there's no such thing! While the warmer months are what bring the tourists that help your business, many are not planning their trips come summer time!

While potential customers may not be finalizing their plans until now, they've likely been searching for accomodations, restaurants, things to do, where to shop, etc. for months now. Whether intentional or not, they've likely been saving posts/ads to look back to now. This is why should keep posting and running ads even in the colder months.

Here are 4 mistakes to avoid on your website!

#1 - Not update or use your website frequently. One of the biggest immediate turn offs is a website looking outdates. Choose your aesthetic and stick to it. Make sure all information on your website is always up to date. Also, post frequently on blog/social media to actually show that your business is current and running.

#2 - Not having a data collection tool like Pixel. These tools allow you to gather vital customer information through others simply clicking through your website. This will boost your Facebook ads to get the best conversion optimization!

#3 - Not using alt text for SEO. This basically tells Google how to describe your image on the site. Therefore, when someone searches for images of your industry, your pictures will also show up.

#4 - Using an outdated email. You definitely don't want contact forms to end up in your spam folder to never be seen!
