Joy began as a freelance writer in 2011 using the business name “Words by JB.” In 2015, she decided to build an official business and formed an LLC using the name Joy Bennett Consulting. In 2020, she rebranded as Jumpstart Marketing LLC with a focus on serving the greater Cincinnati area with a la carte marketing services.

Whenever you think about any message to grow your business or organization, the first thing to ask yourself is this: who am I talking to?

What do they need? In what form do they want this need met? What will change when you solve this for them? Who do they trust?

Your message will not land if you forget to identify your audience before crafting it!
