When a food broker steps into a high-energy convention filled with thousands of candy and snack professionals (and unlimited samples), the outcome is clear: impactful conversations and new business opportunities.

Our SellEthics team—Darren Lathan, Bill McLeod, Michele Huff, Barry Stevens, and Shane Brogdon—attended the 2026 Sweets & Snacks Expo in Las Vegas from May 19–21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

This year’s event set new records, with over 1,000 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees, with a focus throughout on strengthening relationships. A key highlight was a series of retailer walks with partners including Publix, Harris Teeter, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar. These provided valuable time to review current business performance, explore upcoming innovations, and engage in strategic conversations that are difficult to replicate virtually.

In addition to meetings, we connected with new companies across the show floor, exploring potential partnerships, discussing shared industry goals and momentum for future collaboration.

Today we pause to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their legacy lives on in our gratitude.
