She stopped shrinking to make other people comfortable.

This body has carried her through every battle, every heartbreak, and every version of herself she had to become to survive. She isn’t hiding her scars, her softness, her age, or her story.

She is art. She is power. She is still becoming and she has never been more worthy of being seen. 🖤

Come step into the shadows, take up space, and meet the version of yourself you’ve been keeping hidden.

What an honor it was to photograph Crystal Bowersox.

As a young mom myself back in 2010 who also struggled with my relationship with my mother, Crystal changed my life in a couple different ways.

First off, her song "Farmer's Daughter" really opened my eyes to the dynamic of my relationship with my own mom and just how toxic it was.
I then started to stand up for myself and set boundaries which obviously had domino effect on my life.

Secondly, she was a mom who dressed "Differently" and had dreads! 😍
As someone who, at the time, had been putting bright colors in my hair for 7 years... I was constantly criticized for looking like I did while being a mom. I eventually let it get to me and I stopped dying my hair bright colors.
Crystal made me realized I could be ME while still being a MOM!

Lastly, she went after her dreams and built a career out of her creative outlet while being a mom. I realized that everyone that told me that I couldn't do that, let alone while being a mom, was full of s**t!

Ironically, I eventually moved to the same area she grew up in and have built a life I am very proud of by being authentically me while building a business through my creativity!

Music can literally change your life! 📸🎶

Thank you again Crystal!

Part siren, part storm...and entirely intolerant of terrible people. 🧜‍♀️🌊

She doesn't lure sailors to their demise. Just narcissists, manipulators, and anyone who mistakes kindness for weakness.

The sea may forgive you… but she probably won’t. 🖤

🚙📸 TOLEDO JEEP PHOTO UPDATE! 📸🚙

If you came out and had your Jeep photographed during our United Way of Greater Toledo charity event, this post is for you! 🖤

I've heard from a few people who had trouble receiving their email, accessing their gallery, or finding their photos. We also had a few photo numbers/folders get mixed up during the craziness of photographing SO many Jeeps over three days.

So instead of risking anyone missing their photos, I'm opening up the FULL gallery to everyone! 🙌

I sincerely apologize for any confusion and appreciate everyone's patience while I worked through the little hiccups from such a massive weekend. Between the heat, three straight days of shooting, and keeping all those beautiful Jeeps moving through, it was definitely an adventure. 😂🥵📸

Most importantly, I want to make sure EVERYONE gets their photos!

And once again, THANK YOU to every single person who participated and helped support United Way of Greater Toledo. It was an absolute pleasure photographing your Jeeps! 🖤

Feel free to tag yourself, tag your Jeep friends, and SHARE this post so we can make sure everyone who participated sees it!
