A few lessons on how brands can appeal to a larger market

Yesterday, it was announced that Taylor Swift had secured herself another number one—her third from her most recent album, 1989, and the fourth of her career. Hitting the top spot is always an impressive feat, but Taylor’s achievement is truly something, considering the genius of the marketing strategy behind its meteoric rise and the short time it took to hit the summit (less than two weeks).

There were several parts to her plan, and she combined them all and pulled the entire thing off flawlessly.

Gwen Harrison and Sue Anderson would prefer not to tally the hours it takes them to create just one of their finely printed tomes.

Makes you go hmmmm...!

It’s a question that everyone has pondered at one time or another: does everyone view colors in the same way? Of course, there are people with color blindness and other disorders that do skew their perception of color. But among the rest of us with normal color vision, can we ever be sure we’re seeing exactly the same thing?
