The 60–90 Day Truth About Restaurant Advertising

Most restaurants don’t fail at ads.

But they do quit too early.

Advertising platforms need data.
Neighborhoods need repetition.
Memory takes time.

Day 1–14: Learning
Day 15–60: Stabilizing
Day 60–90: Real clarity

If you pause, change creative constantly, or reset budgets every few weeks — you restart the process.

Consistency compounds.
Interruptions reset.

Before saying “ads don’t work,” ask:
Did we run a consistent message,
Inside a defined radius,
For at least 60 days?

If not, you didn’t test strategy.
You tested impatience.

If you want a structured local visibility plan instead of random ad bursts — the intake form is in my bio.

When it comes to your digital presence, advertising on Google should be the foundation

When someone searches:

“Wings near me”
“Lunch spot downtown”
“Jamaican food open now”

They’re not browsing. They’re deciding.

Intent is closer to revenue than attention.

For most independent restaurants, direction requests matter more than likes.

If your strategy doesn’t prioritize capturing active local demand, you’re building awareness without capturing people in your local area.

Follow us for restaurant marketing built on intent — not trends.

Posting Every Day Isn’t Filling Your Slow Days

Posting daily does not equal local visibility.

Organic platforms distribute content based on engagement — not proximity.

That means:
Your video might go viral…
But still not move Tuesday lunch.

Restaurants operate within a tight trade radius.

If you can’t control who sees your offer and where they live, you’re hoping — not building.

Direction requests.
Phone calls.
In-store visits.

Those are the metrics that matter.

Comment “LOCAL” if you want to evaluate whether your marketing is actually local — or just visible.

Which Five Guy’s do you usually order from?

Mine is the one on GA-20 in McDonough, GA by the Miller’s Ale and Nana’s Chicken and Waffles.

The location pictured in this video is just outside Memphis, TN.

No matter the locations that I have visited. I always get the same experience.

Who doesn’t love Five Guy’s!

Any city or State we are in, if they have a Five Guy’s, it’s on our list to visit.

What’s your favorite item to get?

I am always getting the “Grilled Cheeseburger” or “Melt”.

Can’t forget the fries.

If your ads “aren’t working,” it may not be an ad problem.

It may be a message problem.

Marketing = The Message
Advertising = The Distribution

If the offer is vague, ads amplify confusion.

“Come try our food” is not a strategy.

A clear, location-based, time-bound offer is.

Before increasing ad spend, ask:
• Is the offer specific?
• Is it local?
• Is there a reason to act now?

Clarity first. Distribution second.

Flavor Digital visits Memphis, TN and ends up in the city of Cordova trying a new Hibachi restaurant.

Osaka Japanese Cuisine had people waiting outside for them to open.

We were one of the first groups seated, but boy did they fill up fast.

The presentation was what you would expect at a quality hibachi restaurant, but I would say that it did take a minute to receive all of the hibachi components on my plate.

Overall the experience was good and the food tasted wonderful.

If you are ever in the metro-Memphis area, give them a try.

Flavor Digital has hit the road and while in Memphis, we always stop by a restaurant that serves Hibachi.

This time it was Osaka Japanese Cuisine.

Here is a glimpse into the experience.

Most independent restaurants are chasing followers instead of customers.

You don’t need 100,000 people watching your reels.

You need a few thousand people within 5–7 miles who:
• Recognize your name
• See your offer repeatedly
• Remember you when it’s time to eat

Restaurants grow through geographic familiarity.
Not popularity.

If your content is reaching more strangers than neighbors, your strategy is misaligned.

We can help you align your restaurant with conversions that matter.

Follow us for a practical local visibility strategy.

Bombay Bites in McDonough, GA was a great experience.

The presentation of the food was beautiful and the food was prepared perfectly.

I believe the food could have came out hotter like other Indian restaurants we have attended.

But overall this is a great restaurant in Henry County and I recommend you give them a try.
