Today's victory, along with Purple Line, etc., confirms Gov Hogan's legacy will be quicker trips, a stronger economy and a better quality of life for everyone who moves - transit riders, carpoolers, free-lane users and toll-payers.

The new Am Legion Bridge/495/270 plan is the right course, but to ensure it's an "all travelers win" plan, MD legislators must pass enabling legislation next session so some $$ flow to transit & carpoolers should ride free, matching VA's express lanes.

Changes would also include extending plans for the Capital Beltway toll lanes in Prince George’s County, Maryland, all the way to the Wilson Bridge.
