Ever feel like your company isn't attracting the right demographic of clientele? It's probably because your communication isn't targeted at the right people. Maybe your putting ads in the wrong places, but likely it can stem from the look and feel of your company. This is when we look to a Soft Rebrand, a revitalization of the brand's current aesthetic, without completely abandoning everything.
I helped Bella Collina, a Bed and Breakfast outside of Amity, to do just this. They found that many of the high end customers they were pursuing were turned off by their brand, as it appealed more to a lower income demographic. It started with a couple small updates to their logo, then moved on to redefining their brand color and type palette, and then resolved with creating a full set of brand guidelines to help with all future communications. This included not just rules governing how to execute the brand (colors/typography/tone of voice/etc.), but a full suite of assets and templates that they could use to implement their brand in the future.
