Grandma wrote a children’s story and wanted to bring it to life. I connected her with a graphic designer that laid the book out and added the necessary pictures. She now has a beautiful digital copy to make more books in the future. We bound one copy in a buckram cover with silver stamping. She was overjoyed to be able to hold an actual book with her story in it.

I created a special leather version of the book the individual had written. This was one of those rare occurrences where the letter sizing I have matched up perfectly to the original. A custom stamping die was made for the decorative element on the front cover. Brass bars were used to make the border on the front and back cover. The dark green cowhide leather made the gold stamping pop beautifully. I love the look of this book.

I bind a lot of family histories. The larger the family, the more expensive it is. So for this one, we did one special edition and then a number of cheaper versions. The special edition is cowhide leather with raised ribs and decorative stamping. The cheaper version is buckram with basic stamping. Both versions will make sure the family history isn’t forgotten for generations to come.

An enthusiast has spent years filling this book with autographs. Unfortunately, the book wasn’t able to keep up. I was able to reattach all the pages without impacting any of the autographs. A new buckram spine was attached and part of the original spine was overlaid. The book is now ready to continue the pursuit for more autographs.

A 25 volume set of Mark Twain stories. It is very rewarding to work on a set of books like this and see them on a shelf at the end. Original covers were completely disintegrating. The pages themselves were in great shape which is a huge plus. New covers allow this beautiful collection to be passed on to the next generation.

Large Family Bible with beautiful page edging. I reattached the front and back cover with a new cowhide leather spine. I then overlaid the original spine. The customer wanted to keep the old worn look so they didn’t want the cover touched up all.
