Meet Pepper and Scampi (Pepper on the Left, Scampi on the right) both these cutie pies came from the evacuation zone near the devastating Kincade Fire in Sonoma county California. We are currently fostering these two love bugs and they need a home ASAP! They came to us together and seem to be bonded so they would prefer to go to their forever home together but they do not show any anxiety being apart so could likely go apart if necessary. They are currently associated with Soft Paws rescue in Bend Oregon. If you are interested in meeting these sweet little babies please send us a message so we can put you in touch with the nonprofit who brought these dogs back from the Sonoma County area. Both of these dogs get along with a wide variety of other dogs, big and small. Their recall skills are great and they do not wander. They are potty trained and great with kids. They love to snuggle in the bed with you, but are also happy to snuggle up in their own beds if you’re not the type of person who likes a dog sleeping at your feet. They love to play and Scampi seems to be quite young and very energetic. We don’t know much about their background, where they came from, or why they were at the shelter to begin with but they seem very comfortable in a family setting and they do not want to have to go back to the shelter and live in a cage.
