🇺🇸 DELCO, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Next week, something incredibly special is coming right here to Aston Township.

The Wall That Heals will be in Aston October 6–11, bringing the three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and its Mobile Education Center to our community.

A tremendous amount of work has already gone into making this happen, and now they’re looking for one final push to fill the remaining volunteer shifts.

If you can spare a few hours, please consider volunteering. There are openings for assisting visitors at the Wall, parking and visitor assistance, the Visitor Tent, the Mobile Education Center and other general support roles.

You don’t have to live in Aston to volunteer. We’d love to see people from all across Delco step up and help us welcome veterans, their families and visitors to our hometown.

And if you can’t volunteer, please SHARE THIS POST. You never know who on your friends list may have a few hours to give.

This is a pretty special honor for Aston, and we want to help make sure we do it right.

Help us celebrate a milestone that will change lives.

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Ribbon Cutting for Well Rooted as they open two new apartments for young adults aging out of foster care. This expansion represents more than new housing. It creates a safe place where young adults can begin their next chapter with stability, support, and hope.

The evening will include tours of the apartments, an opportunity to learn more about Well Rooted's mission, and a chance to meet the people making a lasting impact in our community.

Can't attend but still want to help? You can make a difference by donating items through Well Rooted's Amazon Wishlist. From kitchen essentials to household necessities, every contribution helps prepare these apartments for their first residents. The wishlist closes on July 22nd, so be sure to donate before then!
