π Christmas is 10 days away and I'm so excited...it's such a family-oriented and focused time for me! And in that vein I thought I'd share a few photos of my own little family from this weekend, and introduce myself to those of you who follow my work on social media but don't know much about me as a person! So, hi! This is me with my three greatest treasures β€οΈ
β’ I'm Cassandra. I'm a Christ follower, born and raised in Florida, I'm half Puerto Rican, the second oldest of 8 kids, my favorite book genre is historical Christian romance, and I have a sweet tooth that is never satisfied.
β’ That gorgeous, blue-eyed man beside me is my husband Dal; he's been mine for 12 years and we've been married for 8! He is hardworking, cooks for me, gives the best backrubs, is very handy around the house and has done most of the renovations on our little fixer upper himself over the last 7 years! Our handsome, energetic, and endlessly talkative 3-year-old son is Camden, and our beautiful, entertainingly precocious baby girl Desirae just turned one. Our kids are undeserved blessings from the Lord after years of not knowing if we could ever have children. They're our little miracles!
β’ From a young age I loved to draw. But it wasn't until my teens when I was dual enrolled in college classes that I was introduced to computer graphics, and I was hooked! I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida, specializing in Graphic Design. I was also introduced to pottery while dual enrolled, and continued to pursue it during my time at UCF. Graphic design and pottery are kind of my personal artistic yin and yang - so different in form but they both challenge me creatively. One day I will have my own pottery studio to make as much as my heart desires! Until then though, I focus on graphics. From wedding designs to business logos, I just love it all.
