Advanced Medical Certification
Northern Exposure Media, LLC

Just finished reinstating my First Aid/CPR/AED certification for Berg Lahser Community Association Youth group that I'll be working with this summer as we garden, camp, and go on excursions.

The class was easy, informative, and convenient. My First Aid/CPR/AED cert had expired and I needed to get it updated. However, I didn't have the time in my daytime schedule to make the class. Being able to take the class on my schedule worked. I personally think anyone with a child should take First Aid/CPR/AED, it may cut down on so many emergency room visits.

To help encourage others to take the class, here is a redemption code valid for 30 days, to receive a free course: R419CART4PR Redeem at http://www.advmedcert.com

With summer about to start and the kids being as rambunctious as they usually are, I encourage every parent/grandparent to take the First Aid/CPR/AED courses offered by Advanced Medical Certification. Having the ability to stay calm because you know what to do during an emergency situation, can make all the difference!

Do you have True Grit? Or do you just think you do? In a recent article published on nautil.us and featured on Getpocket.com by Susie Neilson, an ex-prison inmate talks about his experiences in solitary confinement and how he learned to free his mind and came out better than he went in.

Dr. Angela Duckworth writes that having grit isn’t just about achievement. In fact, achievement can obscure grit. Duckworth goes on to say, “Whereas individuals high in need for achievement pursue goals that are neither too easy nor too hard, individuals high in grit deliberately set for themselves extremely long-term objectives and do not swerve from them—even in the absence of positive feedback.”

As entrepreneurs, are there some takeaways for us regarding visualization and actualization? There is also a link to a "True Grit" test within the article. Test yourself. I scored a 4.25, which means I'm a little gritty!
