GAME DAY on the Road this week for the Bartlett Panthers!

In my best Grinch Voice "BUT WHAT DO I WEAR?" 🤣
For some seniors is obvious what their senior session should be like. For some, not so much. So as a photographer, here is my helpful tips & tricks!
- Bring your personality! For most of you, you're just doing photos because your momma made you. I get it. BUT shes gonna blow them up, hang them up, share them, and who knows what else. SO would you rather that be a goofy, forced smile lookin photo or one you dont mind everyone and their momma looking at for years to come? Exactly. So if your personality is a country boy with your truck... bring the boots and the truck. If you're not a girly girl and play a sport, bring the ball or whatever it is. BE YOU! I will gladly go fishing, run through a field, or whatever to get you as you! Ive had someone take pics with a cow and we. loved it!
- Sure bring the dress up clothes for a couple but you can also bring what your comfortable in. If you arent confident in the outfit, dont wear it. It shows.
-If you are a sports senior and want pics on school property, we have to have permission to be there. Make sure you ask a coach or an admin beforehand.
-Think about your vibes before you book. If you want to be in a sweater with the warm and moody vibes of fall.... Dont book your session when its still 100 degrees outside and everything is still green.
-SESSIONS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE 30 DAYS OUT! So if you want to book 3 months from now you need to wait until that month for the date to be available.

Happy September! Here's whats going on this month!
🎓Senior Sessions- These stay open but you can only book up to 30 days in advance.
🍃🍂Fall(ish) Sessions- They are called fall(ish) because although we all are starting to get the fall vibes with football and pumpkin spice things... Its Memphis. And Memphis weather is like hobby lobby. We put out the fall vibes way before fall actually hits here. Meaning the heat is still heatin and the foliage is all still green. So no warm, orange and yellows yet.
🏈Game coverage- I will continue to attend games when I can. Remember, I attend games when I am both asked to and allowed to be there. I dont pick and choose for funsies.

Turns out you are NOT supposed to pull your own tooth 🤷‍♀️. Whoops. Anywayyyyysss I have to let a dentist finish the job and dig around in there. Even though im praying it wont be a painful mess, I am erring on the side of caution and taking a couple days to recoup. So I will be out of commission for a couple days which means no sessions, games, and I may be behind on answering emails or messages. Thanks for understanding! See you all soon!

Happy Sunday! This week was a challenge for my young athletes and myself. My main example was being challenged to do a shoot in literally the worse lighting conditions a photographer can experience. But I did it. And it came out awesome. And several of my young athletes faced challenges in their games. As I mentioned earlier in the week, how you face your challenges matters. We can throw our hands up and quit orrrrrrr face our challenges as building blocks to test our strength. Whether you believe in Jesus or Kelly Clarkson when they say “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”, make good choices with how you face your challenges.
So let’s have a blessed week and face challenges with confidence! AMEN!

It was a hard fought night but it was just the beginning. We choose what defines us by how we react to things. You can let it define you or put in work and let it refine you.
