Another great story shared through our partnership with the Tennessee Nonprofit Network! 💙

Today, Porter-Leath and Shelby County Juvenile Court appeared on WMC Action News 5’s “A Better Memphis” to share how they’re breaking systemic cycles by meeting families where they are — offering evidence-based parenting education through the Nurturing Parents Program.

Four cohorts of parents have already completed the training, with real growth in positive discipline and understanding their children’s needs.

We are thankful for the invite to be a community partner with Dr. Reginald Boyce and his team at the City of Memphis Office of Community Affairs! 💙

Yesterday, we joined Mayor Paul Young and an incredible group of partners for the R3 Partnership Launch, all committed to creating stronger pathways and greater opportunities for our Opportunity Youth (ages 16 to 24). It was great to be in a room with great organizations doing the work to bring hope to the city of Memphis, especially as this work grows into neighborhoods like Raleigh this fall.

We have had the privilege of teaching previous R3 students, and watching them grow and change their lives has been one of the most rewarding parts of our work. We look forward to continuing this partnership and pouring into even more young people ahead.

We are three months into an eight-month partnership with the Tennessee Nonprofit Network, pitching high-quality nonprofit stories to media outlets across Memphis and Shelby County. It's a free opportunity to gain real media exposure, with new stories pitched every week.

We're especially looking for:

Nonprofits driving economic impact
Collaboration between nonprofits, government, and faith-based organizations
Untold impact and success stories
Nonprofits filling gaps in government services
Human interest stories featuring trusted community leaders

Priority is given to organizations serving women and children, disaster relief, veterans, and workforce development, though all are welcome to submit.
