Tipton Perfect targeted two very different audiences with one cohesive identity. The campaign launched across multiple platforms with a clear, confident message: Close to work. Close to nature. Megan manages more than the digital side of our clients. She manages to hit Disney World every chance she gets, and she manages to knock off at least a few national park road trips a year to boot. She also manages to raise some pretty talented kiddos, volunteer for their school and support lots of other nonprofits around town. How she manages to do it all, we don’t know, but we wish this super woman and 10-year Hemline veteran a super happy birthday today!

This past weekend Urban Art Commission unveiled a new mile-long mural on the Chelsea Floodwall, and we were proud to celebrate one of the selected artists and Hemliners, Derikah Scott. Her mural was a love letter to North Memphis, the neighborhood she grew up in, with a heartfelt message: “Beauty blooms where love is planted.” Saturday’s event was a celebration of how art brings us together as a community. Thanks to all the artists for their amazing work to beautify the area and to Mayor Paul Young and City Council Woman Jerri Green, for your support of the project.

Among us, there’s more experience in the trenches (strategy), on the stage (awards) and behind the scenes (mentoring) than we care to admit.

Truth be told, this is more than work. It’s our life’s work.

Each summer we are graced by an outstanding young soul who brings a fresh perspective and new sense of energy to our office. This year, Katie Hopkins is that college student and we’ve been making the most of her internship together. Her enthusiasm to absorb all she can about the advertising industry and positive attitude through it all has made her a tremendous addition to Hemline Theory.

Katie is a rising senior at the University of Memphis, where she is majoring in Strategic Media with a concentration in Advertising, as well as a minor in Psychology. She is the recipient of the HOPE Scholarship along with the Alumni Association Scholarship.
