I'm happy to say I just contracted with a client to plan their 50th Anniversary Gala! The event planning cycle begins, and for me I always start with a comprehensive work plan. I've been refining a template for years - mine is a multi tab spreadsheet, used to track tasks, deadlines, and necessary information. I love what I do!

It's and , so I'm looking back to the start of my hospitality career at Chaminade Resort and Spa in beautiful Santa Cruz. I had great co-workers and some awesome mentors, and still to this day I remember those Chaminade days fondly 💜 Here is the sweeping view from the property where I grew my event planning roots and learned the art of my craft.

What an amazing honor! Congratulations to all the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association wineries 🍷⭐️🥂 Our unique climate and terroir does lend to some delightful varietals and nuances in the flavor profiles. If you haven’t visited Mendocino County and the bounty we have to offer, now all the more reason to!

Mendocino County was officially honored as the American Wine Region of the Year at magazine’s Wine Star Awards ceremony on January 27 in San Francisco.

The award was accepted by Bonnie Butcher, Executive Director of Inc. Beloved Anderson Valley winemakers Arnaud Weyrich and Jeffrey Jindra were also present!

Mendocino was recognized for its commitment to sustainable practices and the vibrant community that defines the region. As one of California’s most eco-conscious wine regions, Mendocino has earned its reputation as the state’s "greenest AVA," with 25% of its planted vineyards certified organic – a remarkable distinction that accounts for one-third of all organic vineyards in California.

Congratulations to all of our counties farmers and wineries on this well-deserved recognition!
