You know how to pull color fast, minimize waste, keep your crew in sync, and deliver high-quality work under pressure. Arandell is looking for a skilled First Pressman to lead one of our flagship press lines. You’ll run the show from makeready to final pull—and help keep our reputation for top-tier print quality strong.
What You'll be Doing:
Achieving acceptable register and color throughout entire run including V.I.P. and Store copies while maintaining the highest possible quality and productivity.
Keeping accurate records of all press operations including time cards, load tags, makeready procedures, etc.
Delivering accurate Bindery counts, auto-count prints, and special instructions on print orders.
Ensuring crew members are properly trained and utilize safe work practices in performing all job responsibilities.
Assisting Supervisor/Department Manager with the evaluation of press crew.
Participating in problem solving and quality improvement task forces as a crew leader.
Maintaining a positive customer relations approach towards visitors, customers, and employees.
