Basting a quilt is like what I imagine applying wallpaper would be like 😅

Tip Tuesday:
I use no less than an entire can of this basting spray on each quilt. 😵‍💫This is how I put the three layers (top, batting, and backing) together before they actually get quilted.

I iron the backing to make sure there’s no wrinkles, then baste the batting to the backing very carefully. Next, I baste the top onto the batting.

This method has proven to work the most efficiently for me both time-wise and result-wise. Instead of pinning the quilt which can leave room for it to shift & wrinkle, this pretty much glues it together which results in far less shifting = optimal results throughout the quilting process 🤩
