Stop sending every email to your entire database. Invest the time in understanding your email performance and start creating small segments of your list(s) based on that data.

Understanding “who” tends to open or engage with “what” is the key to a kick-ass DEM (Direct Email Marketing) program.

You can still start with the same core message and then make simple tweaks to the Subject Line or the email copy that speaks more directly to these smaller groups.

A great and easy starting point could be splitting your list by gender. Then make two copies of the same email and change only the subject line making sure the subject line uses language that connects with males for one & females for the other.

Then sit back and watch your Open Rates, Click Rates, and Conversions climb!

If you have a website or you're wanting to be "found" online. One of the best things you can do for yourself is to verify your domain in Google Search Console (GSC).

GSC is a free tool that helps you understand how you're brand is performing on Google Search and what you can do to improve it!

The problem is that it doesn't just "happen" when you start a website. Getting verified is easy but does require a person to initiate the process. The task can be completed in a matter of minutes and the payoff can be extreme. Do it now, thank us later!

There’s nothing more important for your social media growth and engagement than consistency with your content posting. 1 post a week for a month is better than 3 posts one week, no posts the next… Businesses are always quit to jump to social media the second something new or exciting is happening but if the previous post from their account was 1, 2, or even 3 months prior they are sure to be unsatisfied with the results of their current post.

Don’t overthink your post content so much that it causes you to lose consistency or even worse, post nothing at all. Make a hard rule of how often you want/can post and stick to it. When your next exciting announcement comes around the pumps will be primed for much improved results.

Leads don’t come for free & they rarely come easy. If your business doesn’t have a specific strategy for attracting new leads don’t fool yourself into thinking they’ll just magically appear. Here are a few easy places to start -

1) Website - does it clearly drive the traffic it receives to the results you want? Are systems in place to track your visitors so you can re-market them based on their activity?

2) Social Media - reel new eyes in with your social media and inspire them to dig for more. What can you offer that they would happily give you their email for in return? Once you have their email make them glad they gave it to you with quality content.

3) PPC ads - with smart targeting and a dialed message and delivery, a great ppc campaign may be all you need to keep the lead supply strong and steady. Understanding the value of that lead and the rate at which they will convert is the key to measuring the quality of this strategy.

Time to act. Pick your strategy, develop your plan, and put it into action!

You will not be successful in the digital space if you are operating without a plan. Your plan should include specific strategies and measures for your ~ SMM, DEM, SEO, PPC & CRM. Each of those will support the strength and effectiveness of the rest. Your digital authority is only as strong as your weakest bucket!

Put the time in and get your plan in ink. It's a huge job but brings with it massive relief and incredible results. Start with the RevBucket that's bringing you the greatest results now and put it in writing. Then determine the bucket that can help your first bucket the most and put that plan in ink and continue! Each plan should be built around how it can best contribute to the effectiveness of each of the other buckets. When you have them all working together in perfect harmony....

Pick 5 sentences “search queries” that you come up with.

Type them into Google.

Become an expert on the top 5 organic choices (search results - SERP) Google delivers. Be sure to search in incognito mode. (don’t let Google cheat, ignore the 1st 5 that say sponsored under the title:)

Always put THEM over YOU. Your engagement rate is a great measurement for if your content is resonating with your audience BUT don't start beating yourself up and changing your content strategy if you're not hitting your goals. Instead, spend twice as much time engaging with the content your intended audience is posting. If they are feeling the love from you they are going to be much more likely to return the love to your content. Focus on them and you will rise.
