🚨 Important Update from ResQ Batteries – We Got Scammed on Facebook! 🚨

Hey Phoenix & Tempe community!

We wanted to be transparent with everyone who follows us and supports our mission. We thought we had paid for a vendor spot at the April 11th Tempe Vendor Demo Day at BBQ Island Tempe (1715 W Ruby Dr, Tempe, AZ – 11am-3pm). Unfortunately, we were scammed on Facebook – the “payment” was fake, and we got completely swindled.

We will NOT be at the BBQ Island event on April 11th.

Instead, we’re staying 100% focused on our real, ongoing partnership with Paideia Academies and the amazing kids in our Battery Quest program.

Catch our FREE E-Waste Drop-Off Booth at the Paideia Academies Community Market every 3rd Saturday (next one: April 18th, 2026) from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
at: 1535 E Baseline Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85042 (front parking lot).

Bring your old phones, chargers, laptops, tablets, printers, monitors, small appliances, TVs, speakers, gaming consoles, and more – everything is FREE thanks to our partners at Westech Recyclers!

We’ll also have ResQ alkaline battery drop-off and our popular at-home ResQ Stash Boxes available (perfect for keeping household batteries safe and ready for recycling).

We’re sorry for any confusion this caused, and we’re grateful to everyone who supports legitimate local recycling events. Scams like this hurt small businesses like ours that are trying to make a real difference.
