A tale of HBO, camera tests, and MultiMedia Video:
HBO invited 200 cinematographers, including us, to a special screening in their state of the art 300 seat theater at their New York headquarters. The film was a very detailed test of the current top of the line cameras that they recommend for their projects. The test was rigorous, and the resulting film was over 2 hours long. The budget of the film is estimated (by us) to be at least $5 Million. The film included all of the 6 cameras, running through a series of scenes designed to test the cameras' performance in difficult situations like changing light, low light, and skin tone accuracy. All of the cameras, with the exception of one, were in the $50,000 range or higher. All of the footage looked fantastic, with some obvious winners.

HBO also included a large amount of behind the scenes footage (BTS) that was shot of the cameras as they were used. This footage had to look really great, and be able to be cut in seamlessly and invisibly with the high end camera footage for a film whose audience were all HBO cinematographers. What camera did they use for the BTS footage?
They used a Sony FX6. The footage looked so amazing that we bought one. We already have an FX5 that closely matches it.
If your project needs to look as good those on HBO, we have the equipment that not only meets your needs, but exceeds them. You could same thing about our capabilities and experience too.
