Em um White Tie para mulheres vestidos longos para noite, formais, em tecidos ricos, podendo mostrar o decote. Vestidos curtos não são aceitáveis.
Com vestido de manga curta ou sem manga, podem-se usar luvas longas, mas não são obrigatórias. Caso a manga do vestido seja longa, dispensa-se o uso das luvas.
As mulheres não devem cruzar as pernas, mas sim mantê-las juntas ou apenas cruzar os tornozelos, no máximo. A proibição tem uma razão: evitar cliques indiscretos na hora da cruzada das pernas.
Semelhante ao black tie, este tipo de traje tem a gravata borboleta branca, como o nome sugere, além de um paletó longo com colarinho alto, em vez do paletó de colarinho baixo usado em tapetes vermelhos.
Já mulheres devem usar um vestido longo formal em eventos dignos de white tie para os homens.

In a White Tie for women, long, formal evening dresses in rich fabrics that can show off cleavage. Short dresses are not acceptable.
With a short-sleeved or sleeveless dress, you can wear long gloves, but they are not mandatory. If the sleeve of the dress is long, you don't need to use gloves.
Women should not cross their legs, but rather keep them together or just cross their ankles at most. The ban has a reason: to avoid indiscreet clicks when crossing legs.
Similar to black tie, this type of attire has a white bow tie, as the name suggests, as well as a long jacket with a high collar, instead of the low-collar jacket worn on red carpets.
Women should wear a long formal dress to events worthy of white tie for men.
