Happy Friday! I wanted to drop a little Facebook Advertising tip here that working great for our clients at the moment.

We've always known that video is a great way to speak directly to your target audience, build trust in your brand and generally get better engagement online.

Building off this knowledge, if you haven't tested this already, create a custom audience of your video viewers and try running retargeting ads to them. We're finding that this campaign setup has the best ROAS for some of our clients.

The social ads environment is changing. Are you dwelling on the old, or are you building the new?

In this fast paced digital world we live you, adaptability is crucial. If the changes in social ad tracking have effected your business, you're not alone. The recent iOS update doesn't discriminate against industry, budget or profit margin, it's platform wide for everyone.

It's important to know your numbers, evaluate your results based on data and focus on what you can control. Don't dwell on how things used to be. Instead make a plan to move forward. If you're like one of my new clients, with a few tweaks you may even find yourself better off.

This week got me thinking a lot about freedom and what it means. To me, it's the capacity to have many different choices.

Finacial freedom doesn't neccisarily mean you own the biggest house or fanciest car. It's the ability to choose to spend your money on things that are important to you. Maybe that's a 1-week vacation every month or flying exclusively in first class.

Freedom of your time means you can choose how and where you get to spend it (and make no mistake you are spending it, it's the only currency we can't get back.) Maybe it's your kids, your partner, your health, a solid night's sleep...

This is ultimately what I strive to provide my clients, more freedom. When you have someone who's able to, not only put more money in your pocket, but also give you more time to choose to do the things you really love, it's a whole new level of freedom.

The all-time worst phrase in advertising is "Something for everyone." If I see you claim to have something for everyone, you really have nothing for anyone. Customers and people are so dynamic and diverse you can't possibly have a product or service that serves everyone equally.

Decide who you're best suited to help, emphasize what makes you different, and flaunt it proudly for them to see. The right people will become raving fans and love you all the more for it. Your bottom line will do better as well.
