In 1919 when the flu pandemic killed 40M people, a Dr that visited many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu (as many of the farmers & their families were deceased as a result of it). The doctor visited a specific farmer & his family...everyone in this family was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor asked if he could have one of the onions & place it under the microscope. He did find the flu virus in the onion & it had absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy. Who knows but there ARE articles, from health, homeopathic & herbal publications, that state to cut both ends off an onion put it into an empty bowl & place the jar next to the sick patient at night, the onion would be black in the morning from the germs. Try it, the onion will be affected & a patient will feel better! Onions & garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. Onions have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties. When our stomachs ache, is it the onions that are to blame? Would there be a possibility that onions do absorb bacteria is the reason they are so good at preventing us from getting colds & flu? When most nations around use onions as a home remedy in their homes, recipes & formulas...there, just maybe, might be a bit of sage advise there! From the most hidden corners of Mongolia, the aboriginal tribes of Southeast Asia, the Mediterranean Coast & Eastern Europe, the Middle East & remote countryside, jungles & highest mountains throughout South & Latin America, they’ve used onions to clear the chest, to rid a headache, to help w congestion, to aid in aches. To heal scars...even the thin membrane of an onion helps eliminate scarring & helps w rapid healing! 🙏🏼
