It's time we reintroduced ourselves 👋🏾

Somek Digital has a new look and a brand new vibe. Did you know that our name (SUH-mek) comes from the Finnish word Somekansa which means "people of social media"?

We couldn't think of a more fitting name than this. The work we do is all about helping small businesses build and maintain their digital presence in a human centric way.

We spent so much of 2023 focused on our clients. And we regret NOTHING! 🤍

You do NOT need to show up every day… but you do need to show up consistently 😉

That means:
✅ Creating a realistic posting schedule that you can keep up with. If that looks like every day for you, GO FOR IT! But if not try to post at least 3-5 times a week.

✅ Posting on days when you have time to engage with your audience. Posting and ghosting is the exact OPPOSITE of being social. (Yes I’m guilty of this too at times 🫣)

✅ Posting high value content that will either entertain or educate your audience. Imagine posting something your audience dislikes every day, just for the sake of posting. 🥴

If you’re a small business check your website for these 3 things 🔍

📣 Call To Actions tells your website visitor exactly what to do. “Buy Now” “Get An Instant Quote” “Book Today”. Good CTA’s are actionable and have a sense of urgency.

🔒 A valid SSL certificate tells website they can trust you. Without it they may be met with errors and warnings before entering your site. Not having an ssl certificate is a quick and easy way to watch your website traffic diminish in no time.

🤳 Having a site built for just desktop is not enough. Your site needs to adapt across different devices. A large majority of website traffic comes from mobile!

💰 Promotional- these posts are specific to what you are selling.
