I’m calling you out right now.

I love that you’ve got content pillars, calendars, and a whole archive of ideas in your Notes app.

But let me tell you..

This over strategizing and over planning might be the very reason your content isn’t making a bag of money.

Oftentimes, I see people working on their content but not working in their content.

We’re not being intentional with it. We’re just giving ourselves a smart excuse to procrastinate from what actually matters.

Cause lemme say this: Content strategy, to me, is a marketing strategy that allows you to:

👉🏻 Write copy that aligns with your business so it sells indirectly
👉🏻 Optimize your content for different marketing goals
👉🏻 Speak to the experiences that your dream clients and your offer have in common (you're going to learn this inside "THE PERSPECTIVE") 🎙️

That’s it. That’s the content strategy

Everything else outside of this? You can call it a strategy if you want but it won’t be an effective one unless this piece is there.

" CONTENT STRATEGY? ” What does it mean?

When I say content strategy, I don’t mean the way to get short-term results.

✨ It doesn’t mean just getting specific with messaging.

✨ It doesn’t mean just calling out to your dream audience with desires that don't resonate deeply with them because they simply don't have those desires yet.

✨ It doesn’t mean just sharing educational content full of solutions.

What I mean is to build a strong intention behind your content, so you know what to create & ‘HOW TO CREATE IT’ to get different results over & over again for a long period of time.

But I see far too many people believe that posting educational content full of solutions is a content strategy or even simply knowing what to post is a content strategy.

But that’s not the case. There’s more that goes along with the process of “WHAT,” and it comes down to "HOW you share things to make it more effective"

✨ How you share the message to land on your dream audience & make them understand your opinions.

✨ How you get to the next level, without changing your whole strategy.

✨ How to look at the insights to see how to share things over & over again.

✨ How to push away the wrong audience from your personal brand.

✨ How to make people obsessed with your offers, without directly talking about it.

The “WHAT” works insanely well when you have a “HOW” in place.

But nobody is going to listen if you're shouting in the streets of NYC and saying:

'Hey, you, listen to me.'

But they'll listen if you're saying:

'Hey, boys in the black suits with black hats, listen to me.'

I wished it wasn't true, but using the [ideal client titles] in the hooks doesn’t mean that you're talking to them.

I see most of you are creating great content.

you're already experts in the niche, but still, the posting doesn't feel like a business because the content is only about pointing out the end result that they can't relate to because they don't have it yet.

'If you want to 10x your results, see this' type of content might be great for being called an expert, but this isn’t what makes people pay.

People pay when your content starts with their problems, rather than always a beginner's problem that you know will get you more "Give less, Expect more" clients.

People pay when your overall personal brand becomes intentional, and by intentional, I mean you exactly know that your content is going to get you those DMs.

When your content topic stays longer, your audience stays longer.

Every client I’ve talked to has different posts that made them choose me.

1. Gurus are saying hooks don’t work!

2. Buyers need help to read your content!

3. I don’t know anyone in content!

Means: Not all of your problem awareness content is going to connect with everyone.

Each content leads to different people.

I wished it wasn’t true, but social media is a numbers game, so the more audience you have to connect with, the better!

So, stop being creative enough to find new ideas and start being smart enough to use the same idea but present it differently so that it can connect with different people every time.

& It all comes down knowing how to write the same message and write it in different ways to connect with more dream audience & that's where ‘Ready-Made’ Frameworks helps a lot.

When experts with 2 years of grind don’t get to that level..

it’s because they’re trying to be an expert instead of a go-to expert.

🧲 Sharing personal struggles, thinking that the audience will relate to them.

🧲 Sharing ‘7 tips’ quick wins, thinking that people will be interested in them.

🧲 Sharing beginner's problems to get more engagement, thinking that from this engagement, a few would be your dream audience that will follow you.

You can be called out as an expert with all of these contents, but does it sell?

I was already an expert when I was creating this content (you can still find this content in my feed).

But the fact that I started getting six-figure income clients when my content went beyond giving that mediocre vibe and started being super intentional on the problems that my content should focus on and actually talking about it in a format of (1 problem = 1 post).

& That's where looking at your content from your audience perspective comes in.

So while people were saying 😬

"but this is what my offer solves, i simply can’t talk about it"

i’m still talking about it intentionally while being respectful around the free value vs paid value.

here’s what i don’t mean by ‘Action Problem’

I don’t mean what they don’t know or what they don’t have.

These are not actionable problems.

I’m talking about the things they’re doing right now that just don’t work.

Start shifting your audience’s perspective around these things.

I see people believe that their audience is already aware of their problems, but they’re not.

Even advanced clients with a 5-6 figure income don’t know why they have these problems.

So the fact that you’re talking about it and making people aware of it while everyone else in your industry is giving advice and saying "do this, do that" will make you a far more obvious choice in your audience’s mind.

Question: “But Muqadas, I provide a DFY service, so my client isn’t doing anything wrong. What should I do?

Answer: Figure out what they’re doing wrong. Even if you’re not in the DIY service industry, you still help people with [x]. It’s not just about saving time; it’s also about being an obvious choice in your customers’ minds to get you more sales and growth (if you’re a social media manager).

No one is coming to you to have freedom or save time.

They’re coming because there is something they’re doing on their own with their social media, but it just doesn’t work

Sure, maybe that thing wasn’t worth using, so it does make sense to change it, but did you give it enough time before making this decision?

I see people trying to go beyond just sharing posts on their personal brand and being intentional with it, but just because they didn’t see results in the first few days, they left it and went back to their previous strategy.

Which does make sense, but before changing, Just give it time.

And it never has to be a major change. Let me explain:

Before, when I was struggling with my business, I realized that most of my content was focused more on the masses that I didn’t prefer working with:

✨More number of reaches
✨More number of engagements
✨More number of leads
✨Less number of conversions

So I changed the way I shared content and made it more clear around my dream audience while reaching more audience.

In the end, my number of conversions increased, and the fact is, I didn’t even lower the price but increased it!

TAKEAWAY: Don't get attached to any strategy & keep 'Tweaking' the things. It was never about the Strategy, but it was about 'How you use it'

Are you really connecting with your audience?

Do you know what type of content they like to watch?

I see you all are creating amazing content with outstanding graphics, but the fact that your content still gets less engagement is not meant for you:

1. to be sad, to say 'Nobody likes to see me,'
2. OR to say 'I’m the only one here who’s not growing.'

Instead, it’s a way to look at things differently.

It’s an opportunity to be clear on what your successful posts and unsuccessful posts have that are different.

So stop looking at it as an excuse to give up, but as an opportunity to learn.

Do you even know how many creators in my industry didn’t make it after their first 3 months?

A lot, because they were just creating content and thinking that everything would work out in the end.

want a know a 'little secret' that I use to attract 6 figure coaches?

✨ I check whom my posts are reaching, if the goal was to reach the dream audience.
✨ I check how many leads this content got for my upcoming offer without me promoting anything yet and why if that post was made to get more sales.

And in this way, I attracted six-figure coaches that are excited to work with me.

But most experts who have already a two-year experience with Instagram..

1. actually creating content.
2. get to complete their financial goal for a month,
3. start seeing better results of competitors
3. and think they need a new strategy to get better results,

which puts them in inconsistent income.

For sure, seeing your competitors' wins gets you inspired, but with inspiration, you’re starting to fight against the things that you don’t have any control over!

Why is 'MY REACH' down?
Why are 'MY CLIENTS' not six-figure income holders?
Why am 'I' NOT growing?
Why am 'I STUCK' at four figures a month?

See the problem?

The more you think of it, the more content feels hard and makes you feel that you need a new strategy.

But what you actually need is clarity on how to look at things from a different perspective to make it in your favor.

so, start binge-watching your insights instead of focusing on things that aren't in your control.
