There’s no such thing as happiness without gratitude. Anything less leaves you unfulfilled at your roots. 🌱
I get it, it’s hard to slow down these days. We spend our days walking around with our faces in a screen or working our asses off, and when we have a moment to rest, we get everything on demand. And in many ways, that speed is great. We’ve made some amazing advancements as a humanity due to this fast-paced technology. 🤳
But where it’s given us ease, it’s taken away a sense of gratitude towards the present moment. ⏳
So, the next time you’re worked up over an email or a poor connection, I have a challenge for you: put the screen away, take a deep breath, and write down at least one thing you’re grateful for in that moment. Then, channel that gratitude throughout the day when you’re overwhelmed. 🧘♀
If you have the time, one of the most powerful tools to increase your overall happiness is to make a list each night of the things you’re grateful for that happened that day. That way, you go to bed each night grateful for the day behind you and ready for the one ahead of you. I suggest making the time. ✍️
