James’ consistent advocacy in Miami Dade County alongside his work with public figures & politicians focuses on concering issues: policy on equity, climate, gun violence, emergency response, and most importantly the lack of access to public information, has garnered the trust of his community.
James started the “Trappin Ain't Dead” podcast to bring the positive stories and taboo topics not often discussed openly in detail in Miami-Dade communities together to drive thought- provoking but result oriented dialogue between multiple parties.
James is building a hyperlocal media network for black communities of color through the Community News Room which is the project we are spearheading for all of his Branding, Social Media, Special Projects, Internal & External Media Organization, and Public Relations needs.
He is being awarded this month as the 2025 Resilience Award recipient at the LWYA Gala.
