Repeat after me 🗣: “EMOTIONS matter when building a HIGH-CONVERTING brand” 🙌🏼⁣

Emotions play a HUGE part when choosing the right brand colors for your business. ⁣

If you didn’t know, colors evoke and represent emotions, and as consumers we make our purchasing decisions based on our emotions and through our subconscious. ⁣

So what does that mean? 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣

We need to make sure that before jumping to the visual part of the brand for our business, we NEED to determine and dive into the psychological and emotional part of our brand. By determining how we want our ideal audience to feel we are able to make the right choices of what we are going to use as our brand elements, so that way we are communicating to our ideal clients the right way to create those connections. ⁣

I wanted to give y’all a visual example 👆🏼 of the colors different brands use and what emotions they evoke/represent. ⁣

This is a great way to essentially have that “AHA! 🤯” moment and see what correlation colors and brands have and there is actually a reason as to why brands have chosen those colors, based on their market and emotions they want their ideal audience to feel when interacting with their brand. ⁣

So if you’re building a business its SO important to pay attention and determine the emotions first and then choose your colors based on those emotions so that you develop the right brand strategy. ⁣

Think a brand is only a logo? Think again and lets dive deep into why it is more than just a logo.⁣

A logo isn’t going to make people feel a certain way, it’s the full circle of your brand that will. Your brand should be about the way people feel when they interact with the brand and giving them reason to want to do so.⁣

3 smart branding startegies to incorporate would be:⁣
✔️Work your WHY⁣
✔️Drive VALUE⁣
✔️Highlight being a real person and sense of community⁣

People will like a cohesive brand, their website, business cards, e-mail blasts etc., BUT at the end of the day they are going to ultimately remember the way they felt interacting with YOUR brand. .⁣
By knowing that, any time you post content, host an event, interact with people, or attend a meeting, you always want to remember that people will remember you by the way that you made them feel, good or bad. So find topics to post that you can relate with them on, that spark conversation and engagement; always creating a positive experience for the customer at the end of it. ⁣

If the BIG GUYS are doing it, why aren’t YOU⁉️⁣

I always say this when I’m speaking to my clients or anyone. If bigger businesses and brands are doing it, why aren’t you??⁣

There is a reason why they are doing those things, because it is part of the business strategy to scale and positively affect the bottom line of your business. ⁣

Bottom line = 💵💵⁣

So when it comes to branding, if bigger businesses are launching their business with a solid brand and logo in place before announcing it, there is a reason for it. These businesses would not be spending hundreds of thousands of dollars if there was not a purpose for it and would not positively affect their business. ⁣

Remember, consumers make their purchasing decisions through their subconscious, and 93% of those purchasing decisions are made in the subconscious and are emotion based. ⁣

So if you are not starting with the psychological and emotional part of your brands foundation, you’re only going to be targeting the 7% of your consumers purchasing decision. ⁣

Now why would you do that?⁣

What’s your number? 🎨

What’s the different between a HEX code and Pantone color? HEX color numbers are codes created for Internet and web designs. Hard copy printing — for banners, posters and on fabrics — use the Pantone color number. So when you are picking your colors for your brand they have individual numbers that identify them, which is SUPER important and helpful when coming up with your marketing material or any type of colateral.

“Bianca why is it so important, can’t I just pick the color in the box?” Good question, but if you did that the color would not be the exact same, and as mentioned before you want everything to always be cohesive.

How do you go about choosing a color? So there are multiple ways to do this. If you are wanting to pick a Pantone color you can always go to their website and select from a range of colors there and then you’ll have the code and can take a screenshot of the swatch. Then you can follow the next steps to get your HEX code which will be useful for :

1️⃣ Go to imagecolorpicker.com
2️⃣ Upload your image (from the image you picked before)
3️⃣ Click on the color you want from the uploaded image
4️⃣ Copy the HEX code displayed
Save your codes somewhere for reference.

After having those numbers you can input them into your Canva account and easily make cohesive story and feed templates to using those codes in your e-blasts.

Again, having the right code is super important to keep your brands identity cohesive and continuing to instill trust for your clients. Mine color code numbers are:

Cheers to 4 YEARS creating a buzz!🐝💛

I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for almost half a decade, and I wouldn’t change it for anything!

It’s literally FLOWN by!

Over the past 4 years I’ve been able to work with SO many amazing people who I’ve been so lucky to be a part of their growth and seeing their business come to life. Seeing them so happy, confidant, and proud about their business is the best reward and reason why I do what I do.

I’ve learned so much about running a business, but also about myself and the tenacity and courage I’ve had and ultimately have betted on myself to succeed on this roller coaster ride called entrepreneurship.

And you know what, I wouldn’t change it for anything!

Did you know that small businesses that invest in branding and pair it with regular marketing practices, have 168% revenue increase vs. those that don’t only have a 27% revenue increase.

WHAT?!?!?😱😱😱

Crazy, I know!

So what does this tell you? Branding has SUCH power in increasing your revenue when you invest in it and actually do it right!

Sure, anyone can have a brand and has a brand, but you want to make sure that you are creating your brand the right way and diving into the psychology part of it.

Bianca, what does psychology and branding have anything to do with one another?

Well let me tell ya, it has a WHOOOOLE lot to do with one another, because as humans, we make our purchasing decisions from the subconscious first, then logic, but if you do not take the time to invest in tapping into the psychological part of branding then you’re leaving a WHOOOOLE lot of money on the table.

Do you actually want to do that?

I don’t think so!🙅🏻‍♀️

So if you said no when you read the question above, then you obviously don’t want to leave money on the table and you actually DO want to speak to your ideal client so that they create a connection and convert into paying customers.

Part of making this happen is truly knowing what the right colors are for your brand.
