AI has people losing their minds. Is AI really the problem? OR is it laziness? Is is lack of prompting knowledge?
Now there is a particular group of people (I promise i wont call them names...) that just go around posting "thats AI" on real images. From images of the FIBA world championship (they though the big girl on China's team was fake), to images that have been circulating the internet longer than AI has existed. I wonder, would those have been the tin foil hat people that thought computers were alive in the 90's? Probably. But one thing is for certain, the fact that its getting this advanced, says a LOT. production is up. and before you start that "it's stealing jobs" nonsense, check your history and facts.
They said Microsoft office and quickbooks was taking jobs from accountants.
Accountants use both.
They said web building apps were going to take web developer jobs. most web developers use some form of a web building app for tasks and structure. most of us still code too, but we still use the things y'all said would take our jobs.
They said delivery service would kill the restaurant business. COVID and Uber eats proved that to be wrong too.
Bottom line is, the world evolves with or without you. You will either adapt and be part of tech evolution, or become one of those 55 year olds that wont touch an electronic device but cant find work and cant retire (left behind).
