And then they absolutely nailed it.

One of my favorite parts of photographing couples is watching those first few minutes. There's usually a little nervous laughter, a few "Are we doing this right?" moments, and then something changes—they stop thinking about the camera and start focusing on each other.

This sunset silhouette was one of those moments.

What started as a couple being a little unsure about trying the lift turned into one of the most beautiful images of the evening. The trust, the laughter, and that Lake Michigan sunset created pure magic.

Sometimes the best photos happen just outside your comfort zone.

As she begins her senior year, Alice is already building a future filled with possibility. Not only is she incredibly smart, but she also has a creative side that shines through in the details—like the beautiful bracelets and ring she's wearing here, all handmade by her.

I love when seniors bring pieces of their personality into their session. Those little details often tell the biggest stories.

Thoughtful, talented, and uniquely herself, Alice is stepping into her final year with so much ahead of her, and I can't wait to see where life takes her next.

Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, but some of the most important lessons aren't learned in a classroom. They're learned in early mornings at the barn, quiet moments in the saddle, and from a horse who has been there through it all.

For Lily, that horse is Satin.

Through victories, challenges, growth, and countless memories, Satin has been more than a horse—she's been a partner, a teacher, and a friend.

As Lily celebrates this incredible milestone, it felt only right to include the one who helped shape the journey. ❤️
