Christmas at the beach —
Something new. Something simple. Something very Lake Photography.

I wanted to create something that felt minimalist, timeless and a little unexpected — Christmas without the traditional backdrop. Barefoot toes in the sand, simple evergreens, cozy neutrals, handmade driftwood trees, movement, connection and whatever gorgeous sky Lake Michigan decides to give us that evening.

These sessions are about capturing your family as you are, with just enough Christmas magic woven in for holiday cards and gifts — while still creating photographs you'll want hanging in your home all year.

These are three of our model families, with two more coming tomorrow, and I cannot wait to share Part 2!
