Yesterday I received the most beautiful card, congratulating me on my 4th business anniversary! It truly snuck up on me this year. Four years ago today I signed paperwork for my loan and wrote a check to buy Weyh Roberts. It was all the emotions…exciting, scary, nervous!
It’s certainly been a wild ride. 🎢
Fifty percent of owning my business has been during a pandemic. Learning I was pregnant with Lawson and me not telling any clients, and choose to not taking any maternity leave for fear they would find “someone else”.
Learning to pivot and sell differently, virtually. Watching some of your biggest clients buy nothing. Getting emails daily of clients closing their doors for good, contacts I have worked with for years gone.
In the last two years, I’ve learned more than I care to know about “personal protection equipment” but these sales literally kept my doors open in 2020 and 2021, for that I’m thankful.
2022 IS looking up! Events are being added back to the calendar and I’m working on fun and creative projects again. Oh, and I’ve had a few in person sales meetings which really fill my cup!
Thank you to my family for the pep talks. My friends who regularly asked about my business and how they could help. Donna and Brian for continuing to be great mentors. My clients for keeping my “virtual” doors open. These next 4 years better keep tracking upward my heart can’t handle anymore roller coaster rides ♥️
