Stellar 🙌🏼 The current donation total from calendar sales is $260! This money will go to Astronomers Without Borders - building and cultivating community through astronomy with values that focus on diversity, equity, access and inclusion. I’m really to happy to be supporting this cause this year as our family has been exploring our skies more and more as the kids grow up and it’s fascinating 🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔🌓🌒

BONUS - our donation dollars will be doubled during their kick-off campaign this month - so we’ll be contributing over $500!!

I went deep with the impression on this hippo, inspired by the Egyptian faience hippopotamus that resides at the Met, also known as “William the Hippo”. My mom gave me a small replica of this statuette when I was young and I’ve loved it ever since.
