I was recently asked why we typically only onboard clients that are referrals. Good question. C&E is a very small advertising agency and we like it that way. Our goal is to provide clients with personalized attention, becoming a partner in their success. Larger agencies typically lose that personalized touch and treat clients more like a number on a spreadsheet. If you have deep pockets, you get the attention. We work with businesses, not because they offer us big bucks, but because we believe in what they have to offer and we want them to succeed. We love getting to know our clients beyond their business metrics.

Truth.
SEO is a long game, a marathon (actually more like a Tough Mudder competition or a triathlon, you get the point). Sometimes results happen relatively quickly, especially in cases where no SEO optimization has previously been implemented, but it is typically an ongoing process and results take time. Any SEO agency that promises fast results is not trustworthy and I'd run fast and far from them.

Mad Sun Spray Tans by Marnie of Sterling, VA
Over the past year C&E has been able to help Mad Sun go from barely visible online to having a solid digital footprint. Marnie, the business owner, was completely frustrated with trying to DIY her digital marketing and social media and was ready to give up. Her business has gone from being nowhere to be found on Google to the #1 or #2 spot on Google search and the map pack. From having one or two tans a week to as many as 16 per week. We continue to work with Marnie to further enhance and refine her digital presence.

Every now and then I'm asked to dig out my teacher skills and do a science lesson for my friend's martial arts studio summer camp. I had a great time teaching these kiddos about the blue crabs in the Chesapeake Bay. Now, back to my regularly scheduled day job 😁

My Creative Director lobbied hard for changes to our logo and name. I know better than to mess with her level of brilliance, so she got her wish! Now that we've gone 'live' with it, I have to admit that it was a great idea. The new look is awesome!
