FULL CIRCLE (almost). Salt 1to1 began in western North Carolina, moved to Southern California to work in the Wycliffe print shop, moved to Florida with Wycliffe, went out on our own for a while, were invited to come back to Wycliffe, and are now leaving them in FL while we finally head "home" to western North Carolina. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time of ministry at Wycliffe and look forward to continuing to serve from a distance. May the Lord continue to bless them as they serve the Lord around the world.

The Way I See It

Perhaps you’ve seen these inspirational messages before, but we thought they are worth reading again. Here are six short inspirational messages with big meanings:
1. One day, all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer, all the people gathered, but only one boy came with an umbrella. That is faith.
2. When you throw babies in the air, they laugh because they know you will catch them. That is trust.
3. Every night, we go to bed without any assurance of being alive the next morning, but we still set an alarm to wake up. That is hope.
4. We plan big things for tomorrow in spite of having zero knowledge of the future. That is confidence.
5. We see the world suffering, but still, we get married and have children. That is love.
6. An old man was seen wearing a shirt that said, “I am not 80 years old. I am sweet 16 with 64 years of experience.” That is attitude.
Here’s the way I see it: As Damien Thomas once said, “If you change your mindset, you have the ability to change your whole world.”

Recently we printed some materials for a local church that was doing summer VBS programs in a country south of us. When she was finished, our "customer" sent us pictures of the kids of various ages with the art project pieces that we had printed. such a blessing to see the smiling faces of the kids who participated in the various Bible school programs. We just got a request for another batch for a different mission trip to do VBS in another country! So excited to have a small task but still be a part of these ministries!

Know Your Worth
A bottle of water in the supermarket is worth about 50 cents. The same bottle in a restaurant can easily cost two dollars. In a nice hotel or airport, it can be worth up to five dollars. The bottle and brand may be exactly the same - the only thing that changed is the place. Each place gives a different value to the same product.
Here’s the way I see it: If you ever feel like you are worth nothing, change places and do not stay there. Have the courage to go somewhere you are given the value you deserve. Surround yourself with people who really appreciate your worth.

As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, here is an inspirational quote about gratitude and how it makes everything better.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Here's the way I see it: William Arthur Ward said it best, "Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."

Here’s the way I see it: We may not ever know how acts of kindness can impact another person. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
