URGENT RESCUE HAPPENING NOW! 🚨

Our team shows up, day after day, where help is needed most - and today is no different. Casper has spent his entire life confined in an outdoor kennel, starved of food, care, and love. Every day, this sweet, emaciated dog sat and waited , quietly wondering when his rescue would come. Today, Casper got his second chance and is headed to Furkids as we speak.

Casper will need 24/7 support as he regains his strength, with closely monitored feedings to nourish his fragile body safely and help him rebuild what years of neglect have taken. His recovery will be long… but he will never walk it alone. We will do everything we can to heal him, hold hope for him, and ultimately find him the loving home he has waited his whole life for.

Casper is just one face, one story, one soul among thousands across our state who are suffering in silence, still waiting for their turn to be saved. We have to build a better future for these voiceless beings - and together, we can.

Eat, shop, and be merry at Milton’s Holiday Market this Wednesday.

This Christmas season bonanza will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on December 10, once again at the Milton Library off Mayfield Road. While not directly affiliated with the City (it’s run by the folks behind the Milton Farmers Market in Crabapple), we thought people would appreciate the heads-up that this was happening as well as what they might find.

This market should be particularly tasty, with vendors offering food products ranging wildly from baked goods to elderberry, coffee to crepes, cheese to chocolate to chicken salad, and a whole lot more. Kids can get their faces painted as well.

There will also be plenty of non-edible, potentially perfect presents for sale. So you can drop by to pick up art, candles, clothing, door stops, jewelry, skincare items, and then some.
