In Milwaukee, young people are not just part of the conversation on mental health. They are leading it.
To kick off , Serve Marketing is proud to share the 1More campaign. A campaign built from the ground up by youth, for youth, grounded in real experiences and a deep understanding of what their peers are facing today.
Over the past year and a half, this group has shown up every other Saturday to do the work. They learned strategy, shaped the creative, and brought this campaign to life alongside our volunteer teams. What started as a space for input became a platform for leadership, growth, and real-world experience in the marketing industry.
This is the kind of work that changes more than awareness. It builds confidence, opens doors, and creates pathways for young people to see themselves in careers and spaces they may not have imagined before.
We are incredibly grateful to the BVK volunteer team who helped guide this work including Abigail Rennicke, Katie Parlow, Seth Gordon, Laura Abbott, Gage Minor, Ashley Summers, Audrey Koller, Tylor Huber, Stephen Schoonover, Rob Birdsall, & John Gergen
This work wouldn't be possible without our community partners. Thank you Inpower, Aziz Abdullah, Emani Taylor, Raven, Circle Pictures, Sue Karpfinger Laura Dyan Kezman, Robb Fischer, Stephanie Bartz, Sean Pitts, Nick Collura, Jordan Huber, Greater Milwaukee Foundation, NAMI Southeast Wisconsin, Running Rebels Community Organization and the many other supporters who believe in our youth and made this work possible.
This campaign belongs to the young people who created it. And its impact will be felt across Milwaukee. Follow 1More on social and check out 1MoreCounts.com to learn more about the incredible mental health resources in Milwaukee.
