But when Microsoft announced it would shutter Xandr Invest in favor of fully AI-driven solutions, we were shocked. After more than a decade working on one of the “big 3 DSPs” that helped shape so much of the programmatic landscape, it marked the end of an era. And while many are still evaluating what to do next (especially as Microsoft has, not surprisingly, pushed back their aggressive shutdown deadline), we saw it as an opportunity to be deliberate about our future.

After evaluating leading DSPs, we made The Trade Desk our primary partner.

And 90 days in, the results are already validating that decision.

We’re seeing stronger objective-based optimization, better premium inventory access (including live programming), more efficient CPMs through smarter deal strategy, and the right balance between AI and experienced human control.

One year in and Matt Siecinski has already made a meaningful impact at Gigawatt. Early on, he brought a sense of creativity and fun, most notably through his clever use of AI-led video call backgrounds that have made countless meetings more enjoyable. So we decided to create one that celebrates him to mark this milestone and the impact he’s made.

Beyond the fun, Matt pairs a consistently positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Whether tackling day-to-day responsibilities or supporting key projects, he approaches his work with focus and follow-through.
