Honored to serve as an Alumni Representative during UWM commencement this semester and help continue one of the university’s most meaningful traditions for the Class of 2026.

As incoming students, Panthers receive a gold coin to toss into the fountain — symbolizing their hopes, goals, and dreams for their college journey. At graduation, I was the alumni volunteer placing that coin back into their hands as a reminder that they are forever connected to the Panther community and the global network of UWM alumni 💛🖤

It was an incredible experience celebrating alongside Chancellor Thomas Gibson, commencement speaker Clayborn Benson, fellow alumni, faculty, staff, families, and an amazing group of graduates.

Congratulations to the newest Panther alumni!

Last call for 💛🖤

Today is the final day to give—and we’re so close.

As a proud alum of University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, I created a $250 Giving Challenge to support two scholarship funds that I personally care about:

✨ African Diaspora Council Scholarship Fund
✨ Design & Visual Communication Scholarship Fund

Once we reach $250 in donations, my $250 gift is unlocked—turning it into $500 supporting these students.

While I chose to give to these funds, you can also give to any area at UWM that reflects what mattered most to you.

Every amount counts—let’s finish strong.

Paving the Path of Possibilities for 💛🖤

As a proud alum of , this one feels personal.

UWM helped shape who I am, and I’m forever grateful for those who poured into me along the way. In honor of Victoria Pryor and Adream Blair, I’ve committed a $250 Giving Challenge to support the scholarship funds that reflect their impact:

✨ African Diaspora Council Scholarship Fund
✨ Design & Visual Communication Scholarship Fund

If we can raise $250 by Tuesday April 14, my $250 gift will be unlocked—doubling what we’re able to give.

If UWM—or someone who believed in you—helped you along your journey, I hope you’ll consider giving back in whatever way you can.

Let’s show love, honor legacy, and pour into the next generation.

Still thinking about this one 💻💫
EWL Master Class 2026 was FULL of gems—and I had the honor of closing it out 🙌🏾

A few takeaways I’m keeping with me:

• “Stop auditioning. Start influencing.”
— Laketta Caldwell

• If you don’t control your thoughts, your reality will control you.— Lori Kuhn

• Pause. Read the room. Lead with intention. — Lora Haines

Last night I stepped out solo to attend the 2026 UWM Alumni Awards Evening, and it was such a meaningful night celebrating excellence across the Panther community 💛🖤

As a proud board member of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Alumni Association, it was an honor to be in the room recognizing alumni and partners who continue to lead, serve, and make impact.

A special shout-out to the GOLD Award recipients—Carrie Mahone and my sorority sister Oby Nwabuzor—who have already accomplished so much in their first decade out of school. So proud to witness your continued growth and success.

UWM is truly filled with incredible people, and nights like this are a reminder of the power of community and leadership. 💫

Grateful to have supported 14th Annual MKE Business Now Entrepreneurship Summit by facilitating a short workshop on practical technology tools for small businesses.

The session, Tech That Pays, focused on how everyday tech—financial tools, communication platforms, and simple systems—can help entrepreneurs work more efficiently and make informed decisions at their current stage of business.

I also want to honor Akuwa, who was a steady connector and supporter of this summit and so many community efforts. She often worked behind the scenes to make sure others had what they needed to succeed. Her presence and impact will truly be missed.
