Women's Entrepreneurship Week was SO MUCH FUN last week! Every year we look forward to it, and every year it delivers. This year felt especially good.

Something happens when you put that many powerful, driven women in one room. The energy is *a vibe*. The conversations go deep. It goes beyond just networking. We share real insights, real struggles, and real wins. We push each other forward, laugh, and eat good snacks as we do it.

We left feeling inspired, recharged, and honestly a little fired up. That's the WEW effect

Today, our featured non-profit from our  is . Arts at Large Activates Milwaukee’s communities to build environments that support arts-rich, lifelong learning. They serve 50+ schools and 13,000+ students and families annually. Plus they are celebrating 25 years this year! Congrats guys!

They have a really cool upcoming event on May 7 from 6 - 8 pm, it's called Masterclass | Making Hope: A Fabric Flag Workshop. That sounds lovely. 

The description says: Participants will spark their imagination with artist-in-residence, Hattie’s Flock, through writing exercises and generate their own mantras and intentions that will become fabric banners for future parades and events. It is free & open to the public, all ages & skill levels welcome. Materials provided. Space is limited.

Small talk. Most people hate it. It's awkward. It can feel fake. You don't know what to say.

Nydia Mauras-Jones used to hate it, too. Now she loves it! And, apparently, she has been deemed the "Queen of Small Talk". Seems appropriate for a co-owner of Banter Design Co. 😁

Okay, we tried. We really did.

After 7 months of being Banter Design Co., we’ve learned something important… we talk too much. Like… a lot.

So, we’re making a change.

Introducing our new name: Shut Up
Tagline: Enough already.

No more friendly chat at the start of meetings.
No more joking around at the end.
No more "let's keep brainstorming this."
Just silence. Peace. Quiet. 😌

We’ll be launching our new brand immediately.
