I planted a butterfly buffet! We turned old deck steps upside down and painted them, then filled it with dirt and made a garden a few years ago. But I haven’t yet found anything that grows in it besides weeds, because it’s under a tree. So this year I moved all the milkweed growing in my garden to here, if you can’t beat the weeds, I guess you add to them! Milkweed is the only thing Monarch Butterfly caterpillars eat, and monarchs are now endangered. So, by planting milkweed we help the monarch population grow. I’m so happy that I finally found something that will grow in this upcycled garden!

Here’s a little look at an important step that goes into all t-shirt designs that I create. When designing on a computer, there’s a slim chance it will print the way it looks on screen. That is why I always do test prints and color adjustments on all new artwork before bringing any products to market or filling a custom shirt order. Yes, there’s added expense for me, but it ensures that I will deliver the highest quality product I am capable of producing.
