One of my favorite things about touring is the little merch experiences we design to go along with the tour. 😍

Because we released a new album this year, the experience is centered around that vibe — simple, artistic, beautiful, enjoyable.

I love these tiny art prints we made through Artifact Uprising, a nod to the album artwork but without the title or any additional text so it gets to mean whatever it means to you.

Right now, it sits on this little wooden stand on our merch table, but I fully plan to frame one and hang it on my gallery wall. Or maybe it’ll inspire my next tattoo, who knows 🤓🤘🏻

I’ll be adding them to The OK Factor’s store at the end of tour so you can get one shipped to ya, if you’d like! 🥂

Currently on tour with and The OK Factor, but figured this is the *perfect* time to show you some recent work. Because I’ve seriously fallen off the wagon of highlighting the inspired ideas of my clients, and that’s 👏🏻 gotta 👏🏻 change 👏🏻

So we’ll start with this, a gorgeous little icon I drew for a consultant in the higher ed space. Sophisticated and smart, while balancing elegance and approachability. This is someone who knows what she’s doing and really, truly loves the work.

I sent off Tiny Brand No. 175 last week and can’t wait to see it out in the real world. 😍👏🏻🥂🤓

Omg I am *so* pleased to introduce you to my 2026 Foundry Fellow, Trisha Tobias 😍✨🥂👏🏻🫶🏻🥹

We’re going to spend the next year together working on her story development and editorial business, crafting something unique out of her particular blend of skills and interests, and finding ways to lean into her identity as a creative entrepreneur so she can build her dreams sustainably.

She’s got a slew of awards and accolades, including her debut novel Honeysuckle and Bone (which I have in my possession and can’t wait to read), but what I love the most about Trisha (so far) is her bright spirit, her sense of humor, and the fact that she let me dub her a creative entrepreneur with my Apple Pencil over Google Meet 😂🙌🏻

We’re going to document the whole process, so stay tuned. Can’t wait to help bring her inspired ideas to life 😍👏🏻

Not-so-quick riff on choosing a Foundry Fellow. 🥂

And things I didn’t say because this was off the cuff:

✨ I really loved reading about all the ideas my applicants had. Some were big dreams, some were small dreams, but all were personal and impactful and meaningful. If nothing else, it’s a boost of confidence to me that the work I’m doing is attracting the right folks, and that means *so much* to me.

✨ My panel was pretty excited about everyone, lol, and there was no unanimous pick. And so my decision ended up being more about gut instinct and what I know about the work we’ll be doing for the next year.

✨ I also recognize the irony of saying I’m looking for someone who feels overlooked, when choosing one person means my other applicants now feel overlooked 🙃😩 So with that chestnut rolling around in my head…

✨ …this will be the last year I only have one fellow. I don’t know how, but I’m putting it out there that in future fellowship cycles I want 2-3 (or more!) fellows, fully sponsored by individuals, organizations, and companies that want to back creatives doing the hard work both internally and externally to bring their ideas to life. If someone comes to mind reading that, I’d love to hear about them 🤓👀👏🏻

Can’t wait to introduce you to the new Foundry Fellow. She’s an absolute *delight* and I cannot wait to champion her work. 👏🏻🫶🏻

Listen, I have no solutions. Only solidarity. September feels like simultaneously the beginning of a new year and the messy middle of the actual year we’re in.

It’s a moment. This too shall pass.

But right now everything is GREAT, amirite? 😬

SATURDAY THOUGHTS ✨🥂

It’s funny how few photos I take in my everyday life now that I’m home from traveling.

In Sweden and Ireland and with my fam, my camera roll was an obnoxiously detailed itinerary of my days.

And now? I’m still finding lovely moments to capture but with much less intensity.

Are our everyday lives at home somehow less photographable than adventures out in the world? Or am I just not paying attention?

One could argue less pulling my phone out means more presence in the moment, but I don’t know that I fully agree.

Is presence in the moment more important than the ability to look back upon a tangible memory?

For example, I saw my dogs yesterday and watched them romp around at the park for the better part of an hour, but didn’t take a single photo. I enjoyed the moment and loved seeing them, but right now I’d love to look at photos of their little floofy faces, how they looked at me yesterday after not seeing me for months, how Lucy stuck by my side. I’d like to remember that outside of my own head.

And instead of dog photos here, you’re stuck looking at my spaces (moved things around!!) and tinned fish packaging and the salad I made earlier this week and the tiny writing desk I made myself for Saturday mornings like this one.

(Also, can we have a moment for the mug that says “DON”, made by one of my grandpas for the other grandpa?! Obsessed.)

Content is one of those things that is either in the groove of, or loathe and just…ignore.

I’m feeling the groove come back, so we’re riding the wave. 🌊
