Ruth created Squaretree after 9 years working in nonprofit communications, development and stakeholder engagement. Her background blends research, leadership development and the arts. More recently she has worked with founders to launch crowdfunding projects.

🟧 WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'VE LEARNED AT SQUARETREE, WHICH YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW? How beneficial business ownership is for individuals and communities. There is a huge value to setting all the terms for the culture, values and systems of your own company.
🟪 FUN FACT: I galloped ba****ck on a horse through the woods—at night!
🟥 WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO NEXT? I'd like to build a health-oriented tech service. I would also like to build Squaretree to be a larger agency. But first things first! I am focusing on my own health before building out new initiatives.
🟦 WHAT YOU HOPE PEOPLE WILL TAKE FROM YOUR WORK: When I left my full-time job with a research organization, I felt a strong curiosity to explore or create the overlap of beauty with analysis. So, right away, I decided everything related to Squaretree would be beautiful in form and function. It felt indulgent to choose beauty as a company priority. Now I have seen the value it brings to products, services and the spirit of our work.
