💚 🧡 Empowering the Next Generation of Rondo Entrepreneurs ✨

We wanted to add our congratulations to the grand opening of the Rondo Exchange on Selby Avenue! This new retail and business incubator, led by the Rondo Community Land Trust, is a vital step toward fostering community wealth and stability in the historic Rondo neighborhood.

At Minuteman Press Uptown, our mission is to partner with organizations that are strengthening our communities. We had the privilege of working on the exterior signage project for this historic space, helping four new businesses - Kp Inspires, BriiNoir, Mind the Crown, and BLovely Production / Lamae Photography- make their mark on the neighborhood.

Seeing over 150 people show up to support these entrepreneurs and generate $5,000 in sales on day one is a testament to the power of community!

Congratulations to Mikeya Griffin and the entire Rondo Community Land Trust team on this successful launch. We look forward to seeing the impact of this incubator on St. Paul’s creative economy!

💚🧡 Giving back to our nonprofit community!

Our team members Willie, Nyreh, and Jessica recently spent a rewarding volunteer day with My Very Own Bed. We had a hands-on experience assembling Dream Kits and delivering brand-new beds to families in our community who have recently transitioned into stable housing.

Since 2014, My Very Own Bed has provided over 8,500 beds to kids in the Twin Cities. We are honored to support their mission of ensuring every child has a place of their own to sleep, dream, and thrive.

💚🧡Field Trip!!!

We recently hosted a group of students from KIPP Minnesota to show how we make the magic happen. The kids learned about the colors of ink ("C-M-Y-K!"), how people with different skills and interests collaborate and communicate on projects, how we're always learning how to do our jobs even better, and through everything how we're thinking of the customer, and putting their needs first.

Fun fact: One of our employees is a KIPP graduate - it's a small world! Thank you so much to the KIPPsters for coming through! It was so great to have you!

🎶 Save the Date: It’s time to Rock for a Reason! 🛏️✨

We are so proud to support our friends at My Very Own Bed for their signature annual fundraiser: Bed Rocks! After seeing the impact of their mission firsthand when our team volunteered recently (pics to come!), we can’t wait for this incredible night of music and generosity at the Nicollet Island Pavilion.

💚🧡 Celebrating Integrity & Second Chances at the Fair Chance Job Fair!

When's the last time you were at a job fair? We recently tabled at one unlike any other: the MN DOC / MINNCOR Fair Chance Job Fair! We met many qualified job seekers, prepared with resumes and insightful questions.

The event kicked off with a special moment as our steward, Frank Brown, spoke to the crowd about the importance of living with integrity and focusing on the here and now. 🌟 We were really impressed the event also included a Confidence Corner, helping people prepare for interviews.

When we find qualified candidates, we consider everything relevant. Skills. Experience. Culture Fit. Communication. The list goes on. But we don't exclude candidates because of their past. One of our core values is Second Chances: we believe our community is stronger when everyone has a fair chance to succeed, and that no one should be forever labeled by their worst moment. Redemption is truly incredible to see - and it flourishes with the right opportunity.
