Abdirashid Ismail Said, a Minnesota man accused of orchestrating an $11 million Medicaid fraud scheme, has failed to appear in court, prompting a warrant for his arrest.
Prosecutors allege he used multiple home health companies to bill millions for services that were never provided or properly documented. He had previously been convicted in a similar case and was barred from participating in Medicaid programs.
After missing his scheduled hearing, his $150,000 bond was forfeited, and authorities say they are actively searching for him as the case moves forward .
