Yesterday, Linnihan Foy closed the office for a fantastic day on Lake Minnetonka! We couldn’t have asked for better food, drinks, and especially company. This week, we attended Influencer Fest 2026 hosted by the Minnesota American Marketing Association. It delivered exactly what great industry events should: practical insight, honest conversations, and a reminder of how quickly our space is evolving.

A few takeaways that stuck with us:

Influencer marketing is no longer about reach, it’s about results. The conversation has clearly shifted from “Who has the biggest audience?” to “Who actually drives impact?”

Creator-led content wins. Polished brand messaging is taking a backseat to content that feels authentic and real. The best-performing work doesn’t look like an ad.

Influencers desire a true partnership. Brands should be open about their goals and work with creators to learn what type of content works best on their channels.

It was great to be alongside other marketers who are all trying to navigate the same shifts, challenges, and opportunities.
