Today I’m at Stacy’s favorite place — the beach and the ocean we both loved so much. 💗

This has been one of the hardest seasons of my life. We were so close, and everywhere I look, I see her. I hear her in every song on the radio. I feel her in all the little things. Every place I go holds a memory. Every wave feels like a whisper.

God has been so faithful in the middle of this heartbreak. Every single day, at just the right moment, He gives me a reminder of my sister.

Today, before I walked down to the shore, I prayed. I asked God to bless this time for us — for her husband, my dear brother-in-law, and for me. I asked Him for something special… something meaningful… something that would remind us of Stacy.

Her favorite color was pink.

I have been coming to this beach for over 25 years, and never — not once — have I seen pink barnacles wash up on the shore.

Today, the beach was covered in them.

Pink everywhere.

Barnacles are small, but they cling tightly to the rocks through every storm. They endure crashing waves, changing tides, and harsh winds — yet they remain anchored. I couldn’t help but think about how love is like that. Real love holds fast. It survives storms. It stays anchored even when everything else feels shaken.

Seeing those pink barnacles felt like a gift straight from heaven — a tender reminder that love never lets go. That Stacy’s love is still with me. That God sees our grief and meets us in it with beauty.

I will be making a special keepsake from the treasures we found today — little pieces of the ocean, little reminders of a sister I will love forever.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Today I felt that closeness.
I felt her.
I felt Him.

And every time I see pink from now on, I will think of you, Stacy. Always. 💗🌊

Sunday morning January 18th my sweet sister Stacy went home to be with the Lord. 💔🤍
Many of you have noticed that I’ve stepped away from social media over the past year. That was a very intentional decision. I chose to lay some things down and focus on what truly matters in life—time with the people we love. As we all know, life is precious, it is short, and time is something we can never get back. Looking back now, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I could have made.
I am incredibly thankful for so many of you who have reached out, checked in on me, and cared when you noticed my absence. It has been such a privilege to invest my time in what matters most—loving deeply, building meaningful relationships, serving others, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. I would never trade a single minute of that time.
Right now, words feel inadequate. My heart is grieving deeply. Stacy was one of the strongest people I have ever known—with a strength, tenacity, endurance, bravery, and courage that I have never witnessed in anyone else. She showed up every day and kept moving forward, no matter what.
One of my favorite memories is from high school, when we were blessed to be on the same track and relay team. Stacy always ran the fastest leg of the race. I watched her run with determination and heart then, just as I watched her do throughout every stage of her life. My dear sister, this is yet another race you have won.
You are resting now in the loving arms of our Savior. And although you may have beaten me to the finish line once again, I look forward with hope and faith to the day we are reunited in heaven—where we will share even more beautiful, precious time together.
I am so grateful for the life we shared, the relationship we built, and the memories we made. I will treasure them forever. I love you so much, my sweet sister. Until we meet again. 🤍🙏

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there! 🌸
There is truly nothing greater than being a mom. Watching your children grow, chasing their dreams, and becoming the amazing people you’ve always hoped they would be is a gift beyond words. And then, to see them start their own families and become parents themselves... it’s a blessing I can’t even begin to describe.
Becoming a grandmother has been the greatest gift, one that has exceeded every dream I ever had. I’ve always heard how wonderful being a grandparent is, but it is everything and more than anyone has ever said. The joy, the love, the special bond—it’s indescribable. 💖
I feel so incredibly blessed to have four beautiful children, and now to be gifted with grandchildren, knowing that many more blessings are to come. This Mother’s Day is a reminder of God’s goodness and the countless ways He continues to bless me, my family, and our lives. 🙏
For all the mothers out there—the sacrifices, the love, the tireless dedication—you are seen. For those who may not be with their children today, those who have lost a child, or those who are waiting for their special little one to arrive, I’m sending prayers of comfort and peace.
Being a mom is not easy, but the love we pour into our children is a reflection of the love God has for us. And for that, we are forever grateful.
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 💕
Today, I celebrate being a mom, being a grandmother, and most of all, being so incredibly thankful for the gift of family, the amazing mother who raised me and for my beautiful sisters I was blessed with.🌷

Help my sister Stacy Get Home: A Call for Support in Her Time of Need

My Dear friends and loved ones Stacy, has been battling stage four incurable cancer with incredible strength and grace. Recently, she traveled out of state , unfortunately contracted pneumonia, which landed her in the ICU for four days and hospitalized for eight. Now, upon discharge, Stacy is facing even greater challenges.

She is unable to get out of bed, and simply sitting up has become an overwhelming task. Stacy now requires 100% oxygen support and is unable to travel by any means other than a medical air evacuation. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover the cost of this necessary transport, leaving her family and loved ones with an urgent financial burden.

To make matters worse, her recent hospital stay was out-of-network, and the medical bills are quickly accumulating.

For many years, Stacy has dedicated her life to caring for others, always putting others’ needs before her own in her job and in her personal life. Now, she finds herself in need of others’ support. We are asking for your help to get Stacy back home to her family and doctors, where she can continue to receive the care and support she needs.

Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference in her journey to recovery. Please keep Stacy in your thoughts, and consider donating to help bring her home.

Thank you for your generosity and support during this difficult time.
